Enjoy the coves and quiet beaches of this beautiful seawater
river estuary.The romantic and mystical
"Frenchman's Creek" immortalised by Daphne du
Maurier might be your choice, or perhaps the Oyster farm
at Port Navas to try some local shellfish.
Whichever, we offer a fleet
of self-drive motor and rowing boats, which are
ideal to help you and your family sample the delights of
this estuary.
Our Ferry will carry you across
the water between two superb pubs, the thatched Shipwrights
Arms in the lovely old fishing village of Helford and the
famous Ferry Boat Inn at Helford Passage; both of which
offer excellent facilities for lunch after a glorious waterside
walk.
There are National Trust gardens and protected areas of
outstanding natural beauty within easy walking distance
of the ferry landing points. |
